Honour

Let honour guide all your actions both inside and outside of Lumen Orien. Cases of ganking, exploiting, ninja looting, RP event griefing, begging or other dishonourable behaviour will be severely punished, most likely by being kicked from the org. The spoils of battle should be fairly distributed at all times and decided beforehand if possible to avoid any misunderstanding. We are a roleplaying org and as such will be IC in vicinity chat. Please respect this by keeping OOC remarks to tells or use the chatbot provided.

Justice

All guild members have the right to be heard, but not to the point of offence or disrespect to any other. Advisors are there to ensure fairness among the guild members. Quarrels and disputes that cannot be resolved by those concerned to the satisfaction of all parties will be moderated by one or more of these advisors.

Companionship

The other guild members are your companions. Respect them, and get to know them. Take care of the less experienced as you will be/have been taken care of. Never leave your companions without support, should it be help to raid, guidance on a quest or profession advice. Please be aware that others have their own agendas or list of things to get done too and may not be freely available that instant. Never ask for something you can easily get or learn easily on your own. Members are not allowed to charge orgmates for services or items.

Balance

Rubi-Ka is being torn apart by factions and greed. The very substance of the planet and natural order of things are being destroyed by agents too numerous to list and new threats constantly arise. Chaos must not be allowed to prevail. There are many fronts in this battle and we must use our knowledge and our resources wisely. We do not fight for any individual cause.

Our name Lumen Orien comes from the Old Earth language Latin. Various scholars down the ages have discussed and disputed the meanings and proper translation of the language in order to better understand the etymology of what we speak today.

Lumen Orien can mean...Rising Light... Dawning Light...New Dawn or even The Dawn of Understanding. These are mere words and we are not scholars. The true meaning of Lumen Orien will be decided by you. It will be decided by all of us...
